Fresh window film needs time to cure. For the first few days you'll see a slight haze or small water pockets between the film and the glass — that's normal and it evaporates on its own as the adhesive sets. In Colorado's dry climate, full cure usually takes a few days to a couple of weeks depending on the season.
The rules are simple: don't roll the windows down for the first 3 days, don't pick at the edges, and hold off on cleaning the inside of the glass for about a week. After that, use a soft microfiber towel and an ammonia-free glass cleaner. Ammonia is the one chemical that can damage film over time, so check the label on whatever spray you buy.
